Cluster
With a generous donation from the IBM-SURS Program and contributions from the UIUC College of Engineering, the Campus Research Board, the CSE program, and the departments of Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science, the MCC now has a 33-node workstation cluster for development, testing, and application of parallel Materials Science codes. MCC Affiliates may request an account on the cluster.
Requesting other resources
To request computer resources and/or membership in the MCC, send an email to request@mcc.uiuc.edu. Please include the following information:
- Name, faculty advisor, and source of funding for research
- A short statement on the research problem(s)
- Resources requested
- Why the MCC is appropriate
- Benefits to the MCC
- Description of your interactions with others in the MCC
