Affirmation: I certify that I have completed coursework towards a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. Description Positions will involve the application and/or development of ab-initio Monte Carlo Methods to: clusters, nanostructures, organic compounds or oxides. Work entails use of large-scale computational resources employing parallel computers. Qualifications This position requires a Ph.D. in Physics or Chemistry with focus on theory and electronic structure. Expertise in computational theory and electronic structure is a strong requirement. Expertise in many body methods, particularly Quantum Monte Carlo, is preferred. Experience with other many-body methods, beyond DFT, such as GW-Beethe Salpeter, will be considered.
