Posters
All contributed presentations are posters. The deadline for submission of poster abstracts is Tuesday, June 3. It is likely that all posters will be accepted, but in case an unexpectedly large number of posters are submitted, acceptances will be on a first-come first-served basis.
Regarding poster size: smaller than 3' x 5' (1 x 1.5 m), or 4' x 4' (1.2 x 1.2 m) would be good. 2.5' x 4' (.75 x 1.2 m) would be optimal.
Invited talks
Oral presentations are by invitation only. Invited speakers will be contacted and asked to provide an abstract by Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
For the invited talks we will provide a laptop with PowerPoint and Acrobat Reader. If you will require other software, please email workshops@mcc.uiuc.edu.
We plan to videorecord all invited talks and make them freely available on the Internet. If you do not wish your talk to be recorded and distributed, please email workshops@mcc.uiuc.edu.
Abstract Format
The suggested format of abstracts for contributed poster and invited oral presentations is the same. If possible, please download the LaTeX abstract template and modify for your use. Alternatively, please download the formatted sample PDF abstract and try to match its style. Abstracts should be prepared for printing on one side of an 8.5 x11 sheet.
Please convert your abstract to PDF upload it as an attachment to the MCC wiki before the deadline.
